Yesterday I had the privilege of driving these workers around to support this action, and their important campaign for $15 and a union, and against wage theft.
They are easily the hardest working people I’ve ever met, yet get paid minimum wage to serve people all day and get treated like shit by their bosses.
As if that’s not bad enough, while the fast food industry is one of the most profitable in the U.S. and their execs are raking in millions, the criminals in charge have the nerve to systemically practice stealing these workers money, by not paying them for all their time worked.

In exactly the same manner that “our” officials say there is NO money for social services and programs, meanwhile they have endless money for war and occupation – corporations have plenty of money to pay their employees a living wage – they simply choose not to. The only chance we stand is if we continue to stand up, and support and build the labor / movement in stregth and power, and fight back to demand our rights!
